After having owned two and unfortunately having sold them in the past, I have just purchased another XP-100 stock Handgun in .221 Fireball. Not sure how to add a picture on this site yet, but when it is all set up, I will for sure try.
Would be interested in other owner's favorite loads and accessories.

Bob[/quote] Hey Bob, I always shot the Remington ammunition and never had any accuracy issues or performance variables between lots. Dime size accuracy at 100 yds with my XP-100 without a hiccup is hard to argue with. I haven't shot the Remington Premier AccuTip but have heard it's every bit as accurate as anything you can buy. I don't remember which Remington grade the ammo was when I was shooting .221 Fireball, but it was 50 gr with pointed tip. I also don't remember if they were boat-tailed bullets but would still hit the 100 yd target on the 300 yard range with the 22" barreled Remington 700 LV-SF rifle. Midway & Ammo-To-Go seems to always have it available. Rick |
I sold my .221 years ago because in Florida it's only use is plinking as being centerfire (back then) it couldn't be used on small game, and minimum caliber for large game was .280.
I then got a 7BR which is more usable, but those plastic stocks rot. I got a "semi fit" but it took weeks to get done. |
