For anyone passing near the Illion, NY area in Central NY (If you are traveling I-90 between Utica & Albany, then you will pass close), Remington has tours at their factory. That place is impressive!

I realize that responding to such an old post may seem silly but here it goes. I think Remington has stopped the factory Tours. They were getting tired of people telling them how bad there new products are. LOL
If you can't sell it don't buy it

going to Rochester NY this summer will definitely make the tour part of my trip.

I guess I'm silly, too, Vmax. But I'd really like a tour of the Remington factory so I can shake someone's hand and thank whomever for the splendid job he/she/they did in building my R1 Commander. Alas, the great deterrent is the draconian NY gun laws that forbid me going armed into NY. -Ed-
