For anyone passing near the Illion, NY area in Central NY (If you are traveling I-90 between Utica & Albany, then you will pass close), Remington has tours at their factory. That place is impressive!

Museum: M-F 8-4;
Plant Tours: Memorial day through Labor day 10 AM through 1 PM.

I realize that responding to such an old post may seem silly but here it goes. I think Remington has stopped the factory Tours. They were getting tired of people telling them how bad there new products are. LOL

I guess I'm silly, too, Vmax. But I'd really like a tour of the Remington factory so I can shake someone's hand and thank whomever for the splendid job he/she/they did in building my R1 Commander. Alas, the great deterrent is the draconian NY gun laws that forbid me going armed into NY. :|
