So I was messing with the mechanics of my 341 ahead of cleaning it for the first time. I pulled the bolt out and was looking at how it worked. I cocked it while outside the rifle and now cannot get it to decock or reset in the weapon. Am I going to have to disassemble the whole bolt todecock it? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I haven't even had a chance to shoot it yet.

Try re-inserting the bolt into the rifle, but hold the trigger in the pulled position and see if the sear will reset that way as you turn the bolt.

What scorpion recommended works on my savage rifles.
