Besides the Price what are the true differences between the three and is it worth getting one over the other?

Since its adoption by the US Army on March 29, 1911, the M1911 pistol design has proven timeless. There's a pretty decent difference in price between the models too...

I paid $725 for my Enhanced model, worth every penny.

My R1 enhanced is much more accurate than I am, with smooth as silk slide and great trigger pull. My only complaint is that the rear sight has no dots, and is hard to see with older eyes.
